Pride And Prejudice – Jane Austen

Pride And Prejudice was written by Jane Austen in 1813. She is also the author of two other classic books, Sense and Sensibility (1811) and Emma (1816). Sadly, because Jane Austen published her books anonymously, she didn’t receive a lot of fame or recognition for her writing during her lifetime. It was only after her death that she became more famous. And since then, Pride and Prejudice has become so popular that it is consistently near the top of any most-loved book lists ever with over 20 million copies sold!
