One day Simpleton is out in the woods and he comes across an old man who his older brothers were very unkind to. Unlike his brothers, he chooses to be kind to the old man and because of his kindness, the old man promises him good fortune! Following the old man’s instructions, Simpleton cuts down a tree where, to his surprise, he finds a magical golden goose that is able to grant good luck to anyone who owns it!
As the story unfolds Simpleton encounters a series of bizarre and comical situations and events that ultimately lead to his happily ever after!
